The Steakist is a new restaurant opening very soon in the centre of beautiful historic Arundel at the heart of the South Downs, and we’ve just launched our recruitment campaign.
Serving the much loved classic steak and fries but with a modern day twist, our inspiration at The Steakist is for all ‘tarians’ (vegetarians, pescatarians, vegans etc) to be able to enjoy a great steak meal out with their meat eating carnivore friends and family.
We have various roles available in both the kitchen and front of house and are looking for team players with a ‘can do’ attitude and a passion for great customer service. There are various hours/shifts available and part time roles too.
- Grill Chefs from £13 per hour
- Assistant Chefs from £11 an hour
- Kitchen Assistant/Porters from £9.50 an hour
- Bar and Waiting Supervisors from £12.50 an hour
- Bar and Waiting Staff from £10.50 an hour
The whole team will share 100% of the tips from our 10% discretionary service charge.
Training will be given but we are initially looking for people with relevant experience as we build the team. The above rates are for over 18’s but we anticipate also having opportunities for under 18’s.
