Our team have been busy training and meeting our suppliers.

As we get closer to announcing our opening date our team at The Steakist have been busy learning about our menu, and the all-important tasting of our delicious food. 

It was really important for our staff to meet some of our suppliers to learn about the specially selected coffees and wines we had sourced to help build their knowledge and passion for the food they will be serving.

This week we welcomed a visit from David from our chosen coffee supplier the Cast Iron Coffee Roasters, who supply ethical hand-roasted coffee from their roastery near Chichester. Our staff also benefited from a Barista training session which gave them great insight into the flavours and blends of our specially selected coffee and their origins.

We’ve also had a large delivery this week of the wines we have sourced directly from France. Our wine supplier Paul from Enotria and Coe has also spent time this week, educating and training our team on the fabulous wine we have chosen which has been carefully selected to accompany our main dishes.

Next week we are holding further training sessions with our team as they will be practising service to invited friends and family in order to get our team fully trained and ready for us to announce our opening date.
